Page layout is a term used to describe the way in which text and images are situated on a printed page. As with cover design, a well designed page layout is a critical component of any book. Unfortunately the importance of creating a good page layout is not realized by many self published authors as their book becomes an example of bad page layout practices. A bad page layout may also be the result of using the wrong software to produce your book. For example, a book produced using Microsoft Works will look quite different than a book whose page layout was created with PageMaker, Quark, or InDesign.

Page Layout Pricing 

Our fee for creating a page layout is dependant upon the type of book you have written. For example, a basic page layout is one which requires minimal formatting to the text and is available at no additional charge. This style of page layout is usually found in books such as novels or poetry books. An advanced page layout is one that requires extensive formatting to the text such as inserting photographs, indents and bullets, and working with tables, charts, or graphs. Books such as how-to or promotional books, family history books, and memoirs commonly require an advanced page layout. A third style of page layout is for children's books.
